Are there any hidden extras?

Absolutely not! Our fees are all inclusive for weddings within the North West, and for weddings further away we only charge reasonable expenses, eg. flights & accommodation, etc. We believe in fair prices and there is nothing extra to pay, no VAT to add on and the booking fee is deducted from your final balance. Our price list details what’s included. All of our packages include a particular album, number of photographs and coverage.

How do we book?

Many of our couples book over the phone or internet, having seen our show reel and checked that the date is still available. If you haven’t seen our albums at one of our shows (see our website for forthcoming shows) or if you want to discuss your plans further, you’re welcome to make an appointment with us. We are open from 10am until 5pm weekdays (last appointment 4pm) and have lots of flexibility. Evening appointments are at 7.30pm but due to demand, these need to be booked 2-3 weeks in advance. Why not take a long lunch hour or the afternoon off and come and see us? We hold dates on payment of the £395 booking fee. The remainder of the payment is due one month before the wedding

How many photographs do you take?

We do not limit the number of photographs taken. If there’s an image we’ll photograph it. However, the actual number of images in your proof gallery will depend on how long we are with you and what you would like photographing.

Do you shoot film or digital?

We completely converted to digital three years ago and haven’t put a roll of film in a camera since. We are probably the best equipped wedding photographers in the country with a state of the art digital production suite. Every step of the production process is carefully colour managed so you can be sure of the highest quality prints.
We are able to provide a selection of colour, black & white and hand coloured digitally enhanced images. We also provide a retouching service so you can be sure of looking fantastic in your wedding album.

What equipment do you use ?

Caroline & Glenn use two cameras each ( Canon 1Ds and Canon 1D professional cameras capturing upto 16.7 million pixels). They use the fastest prime lenses including F1.2, and professional L glass image stabilised zooms so they can capture beautiful natural pictures in very low light.

This is literally the very best equipment money can buy. We believe when there is only one chance to capture the image at a wedding, using cheap equipment is false economy and our clients deserve the best for their special day.

How long do you stay?

Our coverage depends on the package you’ve booked. Please read the package details carefully. For example, the ' Eleanor Collection' includes coverage through the day from the bride getting ready to the first dance.

Will I meet Caroline or Glenn before the wedding?

Yes. You’ll meet them at a pre-wedding meeting approximately 6 weeks to one month before the wedding. This meeting takes place at our studio and we create a bespoke photography plan for your wedding day based on your individual requirements. You'll also meet them at your pre wedding shoot.

Whilst we always recommend meeting up before the big day we do recognize that some couples live a long distance away. Both Caroline and Glenn have experience of photographing weddings without meeting the bride and groom before the wedding day. So if you’re really busy and we don’t get to meet up, then don’t worry. We’re professionals and this is what we do. We’ll simply get on with our job and create some fantastic images for you to cherish in the years to come, without any fuss or bother.

We really want natural photography….can you do this?

Yes! Yes! Yes! This is our creative style and what we do best. We love to create stunning natural pictures that capture the feelings and emotion of your special day. We have an unobtrusive and relaxed approach, ensuring the minimum of fuss and we are happy to include contemporary and fun group shots.

Can I have any formal photographs?

Yes, of course. We’ll discuss with you a wedding photography plan and find out who the most important people are coming to your wedding. Then it’s your choice of style from more traditional family group photographs to fun and funky group shots with your friends.

And if you change your mind on the big day, we’ll bend over backwards to capture the images you want.

What happens if I want more photographs in the album I've booked?

We often find that our customers love their wedding photographs so much that they want more than will fit into the album. Solution – we add extra pages to the album and this costs from just £45 per page irrespective of how many images are on the page.

Do we get to keep the proofs?

Yes you do. We provide a proof book containing all the proof images from your wedding.

Can our parents order an album for themselves?

Yes they can and they work out cheaper than ordering a selection of individual prints. We also offer £50 off if they order an album before the wedding, so handmade bookbound parents albums cost from only £349. Please call 0800 1075 175 for further details.

Can we buy additional prints?

In the olden days the bride would have the job of showing the proofs to family and friends and taking print orders. Not anymore. We save you all the hassle by putting your wedding photographs in an online gallery.

The gallery is attached to a print shop and extra prints of varying sizes can be purchased 24 hours a day. We’ve even shipped prints the next day to relatives in Australia who couldn’t make the wedding.

For the first 14 days we have a special offer saving 33% off the print prices. We have a variety of "usual" sizes and we also print our images on oversized paper so you can decide how you would like to trim them to fit your photo frame.

What about wall frames and contemporary canvas prints?

We are able to offer lots of additional extras, such as CD-ROM slideshows, DVD slideshows, canvas wraps and wall frames.

Pre-Wedding Shoot

All our packages include a pre-wedding shoot. These are subject to availability and you are advised to book your shoot as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The Pre-Wedding Shoot takes place either in our studio or on location in a country park a short drive from our studio. Appointments are available Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. The shoot takes place no later than 3 months prior to your wedding, as the last few weeks before your wedding are generally full of things to organize and do!

The pre-wedding shoot is ideal if you are a little nervous in front of the camera or simply just want to celebrate your engagement and get some gorgeous photos of the two of you before you become husband & wife. The shoot is very relaxed, and casual plain clothes are best.
